Dear Timberline Supporters and Families,

As you may know, Gini Patterson is retiring from her position as Executive Director at Timberline Adult Day Services on June 30, 2021. The Board of Directors and program staff are grateful to Gini for her dedication to Timberline and her passion for the community. Under Gini’s leadership over the past 4 1⁄2 years, Timberline has established itself asa premier adult day program in Summit County,  building upon its foundation and providing high-quality care for adults with disabilities, those aging in our community, and caregiver respite. During her tenure, Gini implemented non-profit Best Practices to ensure a sustainable future, e.g., notable program growth serving a more diverse population and increasing service revenue; enhancing program offerings that include an ADA accessible van for community outings and a developing a robust volunteer service; and expanding our philanthropic reach to individuals and foundations to support this valuable community program. Gini’s dedication to community outreach, marketing and communications to promote Timberline’s services greatly enhanced the lives of participants, caregivers, and brought a greater awareness of Timberline to community referral partners.

“It has been an honor and pleasure to work with our wonderful participants, family members, staff, board of directors, and the community-at-large, including all who have stepped up to support our mission and program. Adult daycare is an important, essential service to help meet the needs for caregiver respite and to give individuals who have physical or cognitive challenges the opportunity to have a purpose in their day and be engaged in our
community.” – Gini Patterson

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Vicki Hernandez as Executive Director of Timberline Adult Day Services effective July 6, 2021. Vicki is joining us most recently from Summit County Government. Lorie Williams, Community & Senior Center Manager comments

“We at the Community & Senior Center look forward to the new leadership from Vicki. She is a true asset to our community and will lead very well with compassion like no other individual I know.”

Vicki has extensive experience in operations management, event planning, and community outreach. Her passion to work with adults with disabilities will continue to guide Timberline’s commitment to be a leader providing adult day programming and caregiver respite care in our community.

“I am thankful and honored to be a part of the wonderful team at Timberline Adult Day Program. We will strive towards providing our participants with new and enhanced social activities. By continuing to grow the non-profit
through new partnerships and programs by continuing to provide a warm, caring, and safe environment for those in need. I want to be the welcoming face our participants and families are happy to see and are ready to embrace.”

Keri Jaeger
